RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide for Information Technology (IT) support services.
- IT is a critical component for the organization, and is used daily by every employee, contractor, partner, and end users to provide services to our clients.
- The outsourcing strategy has been designed to secure a broad and reliable range of services from either one or multiple service providers prepared to take the defined responsibilities for securing, tuning, and delivering reliable integration of agency information systems.
- The prospective service provider may provide in-house cloud services or act as a broker with cloud service providers.
- To acquire, own, construct, redevelop, lease, maintain, and conduct land reclamation, residential, commercial and mixed-use development, industrial parks, facilities, terminals, terminal facilities and any other type of port facility;
- To promote and expand inland and river port commercial throughput of cargo and freight;
- To identify and pursue redevelopment opportunities at blighted and historic preservation sites;
- To promote the full integration of multi-modal transportation assets to increase commercial opportunities locally, nationally and internationally.
- Services include:
1. Inventory Management
•    Assist with inventory of all endpoint related assets, hardware, software, and warranties.
2. Helpdesk and end user support
•    Remote and onsite diagnoses and correction for desktop applications issues, configure all computers for standard applications; identify and correct end user hardware problems and perform advanced troubleshooting; onboard/off board pc’s, laptops, tablets, printers, phones (physical and software), peripherals, and software. 
•    Proposer shall have access and be available during normal business hours (8am-5pm, Monday through Friday) with after-hours support as needed. 
•    Please detail options for response and resolution times, as well as escalation procedures for emergency issues.
3. Application Support
•    Performs basic support functions including installing and updating desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and office automation software; training and educating users; diagnosing and correcting application problems, configuring laptops and correcting end user hardware problems, and performing advanced troubleshooting
4. Server Administration
•    Management of user logins and security. 
•    Set up new users and edit or remove existing users in environment. 
•    Configuration management, including changes, upgrades, patches, etc. 
•    Support of other specialized software products of agency as it relates to the server(s) and associated hardware.
5. Network Administration
•    Activity includes all equipment including switches, firewalls, routers, battery backups and other security devices. 
•    Primary installation and maintenance of printers, network copiers/scanners, etc. 
•    Primary maintenance including regular analysis, routine configuration changes, and installation of patches and upgrades. 
•    Alert notifications to designated personnel in the event of failure. 
•    Maintain network documentation and procedures. 
6. Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) 
•    Activity should include back-up storage services which provide onsite and offsite backup. Provide detailed DR services if primary hosted solution should be unavailable. 
•    Ensure scheduled preventive maintenance for equipment is properly and promptly performed; maintain the maintenance records on the equipment; develop operations, administrative, and quality assurance back-up plans and procedural documentation.
7. Security
•    Maintenance of virus and phishing detection programs on servers, email, PC’S and laptops. Perform security audits as requested and proactively notify personnel of suspected breaches of security or intrusion detection. 
•    Manage agency system configurations for a secure mobile work force. 
•    Provide training and education on cyber awareness and best practices.
8. Consulting
•    Make recommendations for future purchasing and technology needs. 
•    Install new servers, software and hardware and transfer data when acquired. 
•    Strategic planning, design, and installation/upgrade of core network systems. 
•    Assess system architecture and current processes and make recommendations for improved it system performance.
