The Vendor is required to provide program management services to district capital projects, leading each assigned project from conception to completion excluding the building official phase execution.
- Provide prices inclusive of all labor, supervision, overhead, profit, insurance, bonds, tools, vehicles, equipment, and supplies necessary for job completion.
- This contract supports various projects within the district on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to maintenance department rotational items, construction department projects, and facility modification initiatives.
- Responsible for engaging and managing licensed state design professionals, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), structural, civil, and electrical disciplines, as well as bidding, coordinating, and managing all construction services.
- Provide a sufficient number of project managers to complete the desired work.
- Strategic Communication
• Serves as the primary point of contact to the operations division management team, ensuring information flows effectively between executives and their company’s project managers.
• Translates executive priorities into actionable plans for project managers, ensuring strategic goals are met.
• Project communication must be documented in procure, or other software approved by the district’s coo.
• Recurring meetings will be scheduled to ensure projects consistent communication.
- Planning
• Assist in defining the project scope, set clear goals and develop a comprehensive project plan with task, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop detailed plans for assigned projects to include critical milestones and measurements.
• Confer with appropriate personnel to outline project plans with appropriate resources and scope of authority.
- Team Management
• Lead project teams, clearly assigning roles and responsibilities to foster a collaborative environment.
• Determine and implement procedures for project activities, accomplishments, staffing requirements, and allocation of resources.
- Budget Control
• Develop project budgets, track expenses, value engineering options approved by the District and ensure the project stays within its allocated financial constraints.
• Maintain a complete and systematic set of records of all financial transactions.
• Follow District policies and procedures on financial transactions and procedure compliance and accountability.
• Coordinate business and operational agreements used in schools and departments.
• Coordinate purchasing and receiving activities.
- Responsible for identifying, locating, and coordinating the placement of any and all underground utilities prior to commencing any excavation or construction work.
