The Vendor is required to provide a comprehensive digital instructional database solutions that enhance inquiry, research, literacy, and academic achievement for all K– 12 students, educators, and families within the division. These digital instructional resources support inquiry, research, and reading development across all content areas. - Digital databases that: A. Foster early literacy and foundational research skills for elementary students; B. Offer authoritative, age-appropriate reference and research content for all grade levels; C. Facilitate advanced academic research, information literacy, and inquiry-based learning for secondary students; and D. Promote academic integrity and organization through tools for citation management and project planning. - Digital Access and Implementation ● Full implementation of the licensed database(s) across all participating schools within the Division based on grade band (elementary, secondary, etc.). ● Single sign-on integration with existing district authentication systems (e.g., Clever, Canvas). ● Administrative access for Library Information Services to manage, monitor, and support usage. - Training and Support ● Professional development for school librarians, instructional staff, and administrators. ● Ongoing technical support, including troubleshooting and resource updates. ● Access to online training materials, user guides, and product documentation. - Content Standards and Accessibility ● Alignment with instructional standards and age-appropriate reading levels. ● Compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards for digital learning tools. ● Multilingual and assistive features that support diverse learners and English language development. - Licensing and Renewal Terms ● Clear description of licensing model, user access limits (if applicable), and annual renewal options. ● Pricing structure that supports district-wide access and equitable availability to all students and staff.
