The vendor required to provide for furnishing, installing, monitoring, maintaining, and servicing personal emergency response system (PERS) equipment in county, as well as managing client data and responding to emergency signals.
- Responsibilities
• Install, test, maintain, and service PERS equipment approved by the FCC and UL.
• Operate a ul-certified response center.
• Ensure timely emergency response and coordinate with office to support clients' safety.
• Provide equipment installation and removal upon office authorization or termination.
• Respond only to referrals from office; referrals are not guaranteed.
• Bill office monthly for authorized clients (including private-pay referrals managed by office).
• Cooperate with office case managers and provide updates on client status and service needs.
- The provider must also:
• Market services to the community.
• Coordinate with local agencies and programs.
• Handle client concerns efficiently and respectfully.
• Comply with all state regulations.
• Credit agency and office on all promotional materials.
• Provide proof of required insurance.
