- Provides for the procurement of alternative third party microsoft support services by qualified microsoft partners including:
1. Proactive maintenance (base support)
• Planned, preventive, and recurring activities to maintain stability, security, and performance of existing microsoft platforms and products
• Patch and update deployment
• Configuration management and upkeep
• Preventive maintenance activities
• Proactive monitoring and remediation
• Performance tuning and operational optimization
2. Reactive support (base support)
• Incident-driven support to restore service following degradation or failure
• Incident response and troubleshooting
• Break and fix services and service restoration
• Root-cause analysis
• Coordination and escalation to microsoft when required
• Compliance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
3. Advisory and knowledge transfer (base support)
• Informational advisory and knowledge transfer that supports maintenance and support services
• Operational health assessments and status reporting
• Risk identification and best-practice guidance
• Incident trend analysis and operational recommendations
4. Consulting, design, implementation, integration and training (project engagement)
• Consulting beyond operational advisory
• Engineering, architecture, and solution design
• Implementation, deployment, and migration services
• Tenant redesigns, cutovers and modernization execution
