The vendor required to provide automated testing platforms capable of supporting a diverse enterprise application environment, with a primary focus on ERP platforms: oracle fusion and PeopleSoft campus solutions, but also capable of supporting custom-developed applications API integrations and off-the-shelf systems including thick and mobile app clients.
- The institution has identified that automated end-to-end testing—across web applications, our ERP platforms, API’s, thick clients and mobile applications, is critical to improving deployment confidence, accelerating release cycles, and ensuring quality across complex enterprise systems. 
- The assessment also identified significant limitations in open-source solutions due to steep maintenance overhead and lack of unified test management.

- Objectives
•    Understand available automated testing platforms and their fit with state environment. 
•    Assess vendor capabilities in integration testing, system testing, regression, smoke, UAT, and performance testing. 
•    Evaluate security, compliance, governance, and identity management capabilities. 
•    Understand licensing models, scalability, TCO, and non-obvious cost factors
•    Determine the feasibility of a pilot and future procurement steps.
