The Vendor is required to provide for turnkey solution.
- Contractor shall drain the transformer oil, disassemble the transformer, including removal of bushings and radiators, and prepare the transformer for transport by others. After disassembly and prior to transport, the transformer shall be preserved by filling with nitrogen or dry air and maintained at a positive internal pressure in accordance with the transformer manufacturer’s shipping requirements to prevent moisture ingress.
- All transformer oil shall be stored and transported in a certified clean tanker suitable for electrical insulating oil.
- Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials necessary for complete reassembly of the transformer, including but not limited to gasket materials, packing, and any make-up oil required.
- Prior to oil filling, Contractor shall perform a moisture analysis of the transformer oil to verify that the oil meets the transformer manufacturer’s requirements or agency standards, whichever is more stringent, before introduction into the transformer.
