The Vendor is required to provide that supply and remotely host Integrated Library Systems, Library Service Platforms, or Library Management Services for the agency.
- This document, the terms Integrated Library System (ILS), Library Services Platform (LSP), and Library Management System (LMS) are used interchangeably to refer to the requested system.
- The system must support relevant library standards, information technology, security, and telecommunications standards.
- Automated Systems & Platforms:
• Integrated Library System (Symphony): The primary software for library operations.
• Support Desk Software (FreshDesk): System for managing and tracking support inquiries and ILS documentation related to services, support, and advisory topics.
• E-Mail Marketing Platform (Patron Point): Used for patron engagement and communication.
- All library sites are allow listed and provided with a single advertised address to connect to the current Symphony system.
- A proven track record of successfully migrating large library automation sites.
- Established mechanisms for obtaining and actively responding to customer input on system changes and new features.
- Adherence to the same high quality control standards for all new developments and features as those applied to the base system.
