RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide must create, operate, maintain and host the online state health care profile system, as required by the act.
- Central Repository Design – develop, design, maintain, and host a central repository, within the system of all profile information, from all sources, about the practitioners.
- Public Website Design – develop, design, maintain, update, and host a searchable public website to provide access the profiles of practitioners.
- A dispute letter and secure message is also triggered within 48 hours to be sent from the Contractor to the practitioner requesting information, justification and providing the practitioner with dispute procedures;
- The response from the practitioner making the dispute, either paper or electronic, shall be uploaded or attached by the Contractor into the workflow within 24 hours of receipt; and
- Upon completion of the workflow task, the approved profile information shall display on the public website within 24 hours;
- These reports will be issued more frequently when the SCM determines that the volume or importance of these events justifies more frequent reporting.
- Messaging shall be associated with the practitioner records and contact email addresses in the Profile System.
- Support the peak activity expected when the profile site is publicized. Based upon 2024 statistics, the public site receives up to 6,500 visitors and 75,000 page views monthly;
- Provide secure access to the self-report site for the approximately 44,000 authorized practitioners affected by the Act. Only the practitioners shall be capable of altering their self-reported information;
- Capability to produce printer-friendly profiles by users of the website;
- Provide pick lists or look up screens and data entry validation;
- Keep track of the status of each field. There is a mandatory 30-day review period before any profile changes can be viewed by the public.
- The web applications must conform to the accepted industry standards of a three-tiered architecture system.
