The Vendor is required to provide support, due to license restrictions with Interworks being the creator/owner of the code-based solution.
- This tool is written in power shell scripting language with Tableau rest API code
- This tool is to migrate workbooks and data sources across Tableau servers, sites, and projects.
- Interworks has written the code that currently meets the following criteria.
• Content Migration Workbooks and Data Sources (WBs / DSs) using TAGS, with options to change the folder location, updates to Data connection information and removal of images
• Content Migration options to be configurable using config files
• Content Migration of selected (WBs / DSs), with options to change folder location, updates to data connection information and removal of images
• Content Migration options to be configurable using config files
• Content Migration of all Content (WBs / DSs) from a Site to another with options to change folder location, updates to data connection information and removal of images Content Migration options to be configurable using config files
• Documentation and testing
• Able to migrate a single workbook with single data source across Tableau sites, projects or servers
• Be able to migrate multiple workbooks, each with single data source Tableau across sites, projects, or servers
• Be able to migrate multiple workbooks with multiple data sources across Tableau sites, projects, or servers
• Be able to migrate the contents of a project containing multiple workbooks with multiple data sources across Tableau sites, projects, or servers
• Be able to migrate the contents of a site across Tableau sites, projects, or servers
• Be able to work with the command line tool which has been used to create this code to perform migrations
• Be able to schedule automatic deployments
• Be able to target specific information which can be dynamically configured as part of the migration process
• Be able to integrate with agency current / future versions of Tableau Server
• Must provide business hours support Monday through Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm CST)
• Must be able to integrate with Azure DevOps, the integration and deployment tool at the AER, or any other tool that might be used in the future to automate the deployment.
• Must be able to operate on the desktop systems and on the Azure DevOps servers
• Must support Virtual and Physical environments
• Must support user, group, and role security
• Must have support for security standards including Active Directory
• Must have support of audit capability.
