The Vendor is required to provide to procure services for insurance review of certificates of insurance along with ensuring agency insurance requirements for developers is current with industry insurance standards.
- Objective:
• General Liability with appropriate endorsements in favor of agency
• Property or building insurance with appropriate endorsements in favor of agency
• Umbrella Insurance liability coverage with appropriate endorsements in favor of agency
• Fidelity/Employee Crime/Employee dishonesty coverage with appropriate endorsement in favor of agency
• Automobile liability
• Workman’s comp insurance
• Flood Insurance as determined after flood zone determination
• Mine Subsidence insurance as required by relevant county
- Multifamily Initial Close (before construction period)
• Owner’s Certificate of Liability (Accord 25), Owner’s Builder’s Risk (Accord 28), and General Contractor Certificate of Liability (Accord 25), Architect Certificate of Liability (Accord 25), and Property Management Certificate of Liability (Accord 25) will be reviewed and approved for initial closing.
• Insurance certificates review and approval 5 days prior to closing.
• Ongoing communication between the developer and vendor during insurance review and approval.
• Email insurance approval with attached certificates to agency multifamily department team and developer.
