The Vendor is required to provide a jail management system (JMS) to support operations at the center
- Provide a JMS that ensures constitutionally adequate care and custody, operational efficiency, and compliance with all applicable regulations.
- A comprehensive JMS that includes, at minimum, the following modules:
• Resident booking and intake
• Records management
• Housing and classification
• Movement tracking
• Property and evidence management
• Medical and mental health tracking
• Commissary and financial accounting
• Incident reporting
• Release processing
- The system must be configurable to accommodate resident-centered terminology and workflows and support seamless transition between temporary and permanent facilities.
- Implementation and Support:
• Full-service implementation including project management, configuration, data migration and staff training (in-person and virtual).
• On-site support during go-live and 90-day post implementation assistance.
• Ongoing technical support and maintenance throughout the contract term.
• Disaster recovery and back up protocols with documented recovery time objectives.
- JMS System
• The system shall capture and display case numbers, bond amounts, and sentencing details, including the ability to calculate and show days in custody.
• The system shall record housing unit assignments and classification levels (low, medium, high) for each inmate
• The system shall have the ability to continuously track and update the inmate’s location during unit transfers and when leaving or returning to the facility.
• The system shall capture, track, and monitor inmate property from intake through release.
• The system shall allow uploading of pdf documents and photos associated with inmate records.
• The system shall allow users to input incident reports and upload supporting documents.
• The system shall provide functionality to capture open text notes for inmate records.
• The system shall allow capturing and updating of mental health status for each inmate.
• The system shall extract and report on court dates and release dates from relevant records.
• The system shall be able to capture disposition and release information for each inmate.
• The system should integrate with third-party commissary and financial accounting software
• System should have the ability to integrate with niche.
