- Objectives
• Executing daily operations in support of administration RIM requirements;
• Managing efficient operation of dcc facilities at administration locations;
• Improving overall records management performance;
• Standardizing records management processes;
• Promoting transparency and accountability by better documenting agency actions and decisions;
• Supporting the shift towards a 100% electronic environment for new submissions and agency generated records;
• Minimizing costs associated with all aspects of records management;
• Promoting operational efficiencies;
• Maintaining compliance for safeguarding and handling administration records material, inclusive of privacy, security and other specific information compliance and governance areas;
• Obtaining quality scanned documents in a timely manner for review by the administration reviewer community.
- Contract entails operation, management, and support of administration onsite document records and information management related activities.
- Support encompasses records lifecycle activities, quality control, dcc management, storage services, onsite dcc scanning, training, metadata management, information governance and compliance, and records management.
- Records include regulatory, administrative, and program materials that support the agency’s business functions and public health mission.
- Business functions of the administration pertain to human and animal pharmaceutical and biological drugs, animal feed, scientific research, food safety, medical devices, tobacco products, cosmetics, and public health issues.
