The vendor required to provide interpretation and translation services for meetings, such as individual learning plan (ILP) and individualized education plan (IEP) meetings, conferences, telephone conversations and academic communications.
- Requirement:
• On demand audio and video interpretation 24/7 provided by phone and app for at least 200 languages.
• Training for use during initial roll out.
• Certification training for bilingual staff in district.
• Video access for asl; multiple languages for sign language and interpretation support
• Process for translation document submission
• Differentiation of user through using school codes
• App available for technology devices (e.g., laptop, tablet, android iPhone mobile devices, etc.)
• Online platform that allows access to a dashboard with analytics and reports and can be used on a mac and pc.
• Comprehensive usage reports available for filtering to include locations, individuals, date, staff name, interpreter, and time.
- Required components:
• At least 200 languages that can be supported on demand 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Translation of documents for those same 200+ languages within a 3-day period or less through an online portal
• Ability to track usage by school and by languages
• Availability of meeting recordings in which the interpretation service has been used
• Ability to certify human interpreters in the practice of providing interpretation support
• Responsive and quick customer service support for any technical issues that may arise from using the app or website for interpretation and translation services or usage monitoring within the platform
• Data analysis dashboard with customizable reports.
