The Vendor is required to provide plans to update the base map and orthophoto datasets to support the citywide geographic information system (GIS) program.
- Required deliverables:
• Citywide aerial photography flyover
• Ground control to support subsequent mapping products
• 3” true (no lean) 4-band 3” pixel resolution digital orthophotography
• Creation or update of: 1”=40’ scale planimetric data set
• Digital Elevation Model (DEM), topography, and production of a TIN
• DTM to support orthophotography, planimetrics
• Unified vector impervious data set
- Products from the 2018 project included:
• New 1” = 40’ planimetric base map layers covering the City delivered in Esri File Geodatabase format
• 3” Orthophotography with a Color Infrared (CIR) band
• Topographic mapping of 1 foot contours and spot elevations.
• DTM to support planimetrics and topography
• QL1 LiDAR per agency Base Specifications Version 1.2
• LiDAR based terrain products
- Much of the utility information has been collected from other flyovers and updated by a combination of survey, GPS data collection, and in-house updates.
- The camera sensor shall be properly calibrated to ensure that data is of the highest radiometric quality and is consistent across the project area.
- The imagery shall be collected using the appropriate blue, green, red, and near infrared bands required to create natural color and color infrared data sets.
- Band to band alignment of the sensor must be of sufficient accuracy to eliminate any fringing effects in the final imagery that are related to sensor array offsets.
- The control network must be a photo identifiable solution suitable for development of all specified products (planimetric, topography, digital orthophotography) at the specified accuracies.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
- Questions/Inquires Deadline: February 5, 2026
