The Vendor is required to provide to procure as needed certified shorthand reporter (CSR), transcription, and other associated services to transcribe proceedings of public hearings, meetings, workshops as specified by the office, and other events.
- Provide CSRs headquartered in the State that are competent and consistently familiar with the terminology of highly technical scientific public hearings, meetings, workshops, and other events and provide certified legal transcription and delivery services on an as-needed basis for office.
- Provide consistently accurate transcripts, of good quality, in a timely manner.
- Provide secondary confirmation of ability to perform services within seven (7) business days of the agreed upon service date.
- This is applicable only if the CSR has worked more than eight hours in the same day, excluding lunch (i.e., 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.).
- Mileage up to the current state rate may be paid if over 50 one-way miles are traveled from the CSR’s residence.
- Parking fees, only when accompanied by a receipt, up to the current State reimbursement rate. - Responsible for having all equipment necessary for completion of the contract requirements, including remote transcription.
- A transcript order is considered complete when all volumes ordered have been completed and delivered, including electronic copies.
- All replacements must have a minimum of five years of experience in transcribing word-by-word, speaker-by-speaker proceedings of highly technical scientific public hearings, meetings, workshops, or other events. At least three years of experience must be with government entities, public sector clients, universities, or similar clients.
