Payment Processing Services

The vendor is required to provide payment processing services for include:
•    Solution that supports debit and credit card and digital wallet payments at a merchant’s point of sale and through online purchases; 
•    The support of standalone pos terminals and semi-integrated pos terminals and integrated pin pads for point-of-sale transactions; 
•    A secure payment gateway for online transactions; 
•    Any applicable security features including fraud prevention and detection mechanisms; 
•    The support of multiple currencies, including CAD and USD; 
•    API certification and support; 
•    Tokenization for registered or recurring online transactions; 
•    A flexible cut-off time for same day settlement of transactions; 
•    Timely communication of chargeback requests and resolution of disputes; 
•    Services to implement the solution and all other related services required for acquiring and processing transactions, including equipment rental installation, maintenance and support and reporting and advisory services; 
•    The ability to process payments twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, three hundred and sixty-five (365) days per year via a secure gateway; 
•    Seamless integration with current financial and ERP systems; 
•    The ability to both auto batch-close and manual batch-close on pos devices; 
•    Daily batch summary reports and online functionality to access and download information related to online transactions; and 
•    The industry standard in response times for normal and peak business cycle.
