The vendor is required to provide signage design, standards development, documentation, and bid-ready specifications for the update, replacement, and standardization of existing signage across multiple district facilities.
- Brand Standards Review and Consolidation
• Review, organize, and consolidate existing District brand standards and graphic elements, including logos, color palettes, typography, and related materials as they apply to signage at each location.
- Signage Standardization
• Develop a District-wide signage standards guide defining recommended sign types, materials, substrates, finishes, fabrication methods, and logo applications for interior and exterior signage.
- Existing Signage Documentation
• Conduct on-site visits to all seven (7) locations to identify, document, and catalog existing branded signage.
- Photography and Measurements
• Photograph, measure, and categorize all existing sign types, including both interior and exterior signage
- Sign Schedule Development
• Prepare a comprehensive sign schedule identifying signage to be replaced, updated, retained, or removed. The schedule shall indicate recommended substrates and applications for interior versus exterior use.
• The Contractor shall ensure that all signage identified in the sign schedule, including types, locations, and installation conditions, is verified and documented as compliant with all current ADA and applicable federal, state, and local accessibility requirements.
- Design Mockups and Site Maps
• Provide “before and after” design mockups and visual location maps for each site illustrating proposed signage updates.
- Sign Type Visual Standards
• Provide visual reference examples illustrating design intent for typical sign types, including but not limited to:
o Building identification signage
o Wayfinding signage
o Room identification signage
o Directional signage
o Monument signage.
