RFP Description

The vendor required to provide strategic communications, community outreach, social media management, marketing services, and key messaging development on a task authorization basis.
1. Strategic communications planning
•    Develop comprehensive communications strategies for county initiatives, services, and executive priorities.
•    Provide strategic counsel and messaging plans for high-profile and sensitive issues, including guidance for elected officials and county leadership.
•    Ensure communication strategies align with organizational goals, timelines, and public expectations.
2. Key messaging development
•    Create messaging frameworks, talking points, FAQs, and response materials to support consistent and effective county communication.
•    Tailor messaging by audience, platform, and purpose, ensuring accessibility and clarity across internal and external stakeholders.
3. Social media management and content creation
•    Support county social media channels with original content, platform scheduling, monitoring, and community engagement.
•    Enhance multimedia communications through photography, short-form video, reels, animations, and graphics that reflect county branding and tone.
•    Increase consistency and reach across social media platforms while maintaining compliance with public record standards.
4. Community outreach and event support
•    Assist with planning and executing county-hosted events, open houses, and community engagement efforts.
•    Provide on-site communications staffing, materials, and public interface support for high-visibility events and initiatives.
5. Media relations and public engagement
•    Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, feature stories, and guest columns.
•    Coordinate proactive outreach with media partners and serve as a liaison for coverage of county priorities.
•    Provide media strategy and support for county spokespersons, including interview preparation and message alignment.
6. Graphic design and visual communications
•    Design digital and print collateral such as flyers, posters, infographics, newsletters, advertisements, signage, and reports in accordance with county branding standards.
•    Collaborate on visual storytelling that supports public education and campaign objectives.
7. Reporting and performance tracking
•    Monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance of communications strategies, digital campaigns, and outreach efforts.
•    Deliver analytics and recommendations to inform future messaging and improve audience engagement.
