The vendor is required to provide staff support services on an as-needed basis.
- Requirement:
1. Strategic communications and public affairs support
• Development of comprehensive communication plans for county initiatives, programs, and campaigns
• Message development, framing, and narrative support for internal and external audiences
• Crisis and issues communication support, including rapid-response messaging and coordination
• Community outreach and stakeholder communications planning
2. Content development and editorial services
• Press releases, media advisories, talking points, and briefing materials
• Website, intranet, and digital content development and updates
• Social media copy, content calendars, and campaign messaging
• Speeches, op-eds, newsletters, and executive correspondence
• Fact sheets, FAQs, program summaries, and public-facing informational materials
• Internal communications, including staff announcements and leadership messages
3. Project management and coordination
• Managing communication deliverables across multiple county departments or initiatives
• Coordinating with internal subject-matter experts and external partners
• Tracking timelines, approvals, and deliverables
• Providing extra staffing, and work outside of traditional hours during high-demand periods, major initiatives, or emergencies
4. Evaluation and reporting
• Development of performance metrics and evaluation frameworks
• Monitoring media coverage and public sentiment
• Providing written and oral status reports, recommendations, and post-campaign assessments
• Adjusting strategies based on data, feedback, and county priorities.
