The vendor is required to provide professional medical analysis in relation to Reasonable Accommodations (RA) and assistance with the RA program to allow people with disabilities to participate in the job application process, perform the essential functions of a position, or enjoy equal benefits and privileges of employment as are enjoyed by similarly situated individuals without a disability.
- Medical documentation received from the employee (initial request form, questions from the healthcare professional, doctor's notes, and/or any other medical documents provided) to be used for the medical document review and/or a focused medical examination.
- An in-person/telehealth medical analysis examination to government affiliated persons including civilians, contractors. And military personnel within ten (10) calendar days.; conducting the in-person/telehealth examination, the contract medical staff shall review the medical documentation provided by the applicant and his/her medical provider. The in-person/telehealth consultation and assessment will be tailored to the applicant's proffered disability/condition. After reviewing the medical documentation and prior to scheduling, the contractor will notify the agency in writing of any additional medical documentation recommended. Such recommendations shall take place no more than five (5) days from the request for examination. If such documentation exists, the agency may request it from the applicant's medical provider.
