The vendor required to provide investment advisory services to manage the day-to-day administration of the city’s employee deferred compensation investment portfolio.
- Requirement:
1. Investment consulting
• Maintain a customized investment policy statement, including best practice recommendations based on legislative changes and judicial findings.
• Provide quarterly and annual investment reviews detailing individual options and aggregate performance.
• Analyze investments per the investment policy statement methodology.
• Recommend fund additions, removals, and replacements including watch list maintenance.
• Meet with the investment committee at least four times per year.
• Serve as a fiduciary.
2. Administration consulting
• Organize and schedule meetings, including agendas and minutes distinguishing fiduciary and settlor functions.
• Maintain an update committee charter and bylaw.
• Provide an annual report summarizing committee actions.
• Provide an e-library to store meeting documents and provide password protected access to committee members.
• Provide quarterly vendor fee benchmarking and assist with contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with mission square and the city to ensure effective communication.
3. Other requirements
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Maintain appropriate licensing and insurance in state.
4. Fees
• Include an itemized list of services and associated fees.
• Identify any additional potential charges not included in the base pricing.
