The vendor is required to provide for pension plan consulting and administration and investment consulting services
- Attend virtual meetings to prepare for and debrief the quarterly retirement committee meetings;
- Annual report of the actuary providing a financial overview of pension plan arrangements, funding and accounting positions, member count, any legislative or industry pension developments during the year, including the Defined Benefit (DB) sponsor trends.
- Prepare an actuarial funding valuation on a triennial basis, including the necessary information for the asset liability modeling.
- Semi-annual dashboard showing contribution, funding and accounting impacts of an annuity purchase.
- Basic member data including name, identification number, sex, date of birth, date of birth of spouse, date of employment, date of joining the plan, and current address;
- Names of nominated beneficiaries and spouses, and any subsequent changes;
- Benefits earned by terminated members with deferred vested entitlements;
- Production of an electronic file to be provided to the trust custodian for annual increases to pensions in pay.
- Calculation of accrued pension, reflecting updated earnings and continuous service;
- Calculation of the member’s earliest, normal and unreduced retirement dates;
- Pension payable at the members unreduced retirement date and projected pensions at ages 55, 60 and 65; and
- Commuted value payable at statement date, for members under age 55.
- Provide information for the calculation of marriage breakdown values in accordance with applicable regulations.
